Ushering the Monsoon
Dragon flies have arrived to celebrate the monsoon!
Recently I learned that these beauties with its organza material like wings can fly as fast as 35 miles per hour!

I love dragonflies and damselflies. This almost looks like it could be a damsel. Not sure, just a guess.

@ Cheryl, I've read somewhere that damselflies fold their wings when they rest, so I assumed that the fellow I captured was a dragonfly!
I love dragonflies & damselflies. I love watching them light on the water. Very beautiful insects!
